Sponsorships and Donations
At SVS we believe that we have a social and economic responsibility to the Communities in which we live and work....
We work in and with the community, promoting positive social values, working to bridge gaps and providing equal opportunities and assistance to those who need it.
Some of our recent sponsorships include:
Team Zariba Ice Skating Team
‘Zariba had a very successful trip to Nottingham for the 2017 British Synchronised skating championships. After a strong skate on day 1 they were 3 points clear of their nearest rival. The team knew they needed a near perfect routine and a personal best on day 2 to keep their prestigious title. They not only gained that personal best by widened the gap between 1st and 2nd to a huge 9 points.
Zariba came home with the gold medal, the British title and 2 personal bests over 2 days.

After a very successful 2015-16 Season Zariba were the first ever team from Scotland to qualify and represent Great Britain at the World Synchronised Skating Championships in Budapest in April 2016 where they achieved a new personal best score. Team Zariba are also Scottish and British Champions for the 2015/16 Season. They are about to embark on 2016-17 Season with the first competition taking place in Cardiff 5/6 November. They are then off to Belgium to compete in the Winter Cup at the end of November.
To top off a fantastic season, Zariba and Coach Sara Paterson recently attended Aberdeen Sports Awards where Team Zariba won Sport Aberdeen Team of the Year and Coach Sara Paterson won Coach of the Year. This Season Zariba were also awarded with the title Aberdeen Sports Council Team of the year.
Stonehaven Judo Club
Congratulations to Stonehaven Judo Club who are celebrating 35 years as a club
Aberdeen School for the Deaf
Instead of SVS issuing Christmas cards this year, we decided to make a financial donation to Aberdeen School for the Deaf. We also gifted each child with a Christmas bag packed full of colouring books, note pads, pens and other goodies.
Pictured above is Josh, from the SVS team with some of the children holding their Christmas bags after their Christmas Nativity Play.
We believe it is important to give back to the local community and provide support and care to the ones that require it the most.
